Meet Allie from Windswept
The creator and designer at Windswept Design Studio where I dream up designs that capture the unique stories of each of my clients. I work with couples with love stories to tell, passionate small business owners and those who want to embark on their own creative journey. If you are any of the above, you have come to the right place! But first, let me tell you what fuels me and my studio ….
Based in Wisconsin Dells, I have the pleasure of overlooking the Wisconsin River in my little creative corner I call my studio. Big ideas come from this beautiful mess of a space. When I’m not adding to the mess by painting or weaving, you can find me in the kitchen cooking the BEST meals with the best chef of a boyfriend, on a spin bike, fly fishing and concert going. I live in an HGTV fantasy world and am drawn to uniquely styled interiors that utilize raw elements. I’m a Fixer Upper fanatic and a thrifty furniture find to redo and restore really makes me excited!
Windswept Design Studio is named after my grandparents’ farm. Nestled in a small Wisconsin town, their farm will always hold a special place in my heart and is the inspiration behind my natural, organic approach to design. One of my favorite memories is riding around the farm on the gator with my grandpa dreaming up where all of my horses and chickens would live (I’m still holding onto the chicken dream!). So much of me is made up from this special place and the memories created there. It seemed only fitting to name my studio after the farm and it is my hope to share with you all this piece of my heart through my love for creating.
